Mardi Gras in Alaska [Mar. 15th, 2006|11:35 pm]
Here are some pics from a Mardi Gras party just a little while ago.
Featured is an alter-personna: Christi with an "i"
(Seemed a perfect time to try scag-drag.)

Do you see any resemblence to a certain blue genii?

Friday and her "special friend" Christi enjoy the party

Christi reciprocates.
Everyone is so open and friendly here!
It's a very good place to be.

Anywho, that's about it! St. Patty's day may furnish more pics.

Anyone lived in a pretty how town -E. E. Cummings- [Dec. 13th, 2005|08:27 am]
anyone lived in a pretty how town
(with up so floating many bells down)
spring summer autumn winter
he sang his didn't he danced his did.

women and men (both little and small)
cared for anyone not at all
they sowed their isn't they reaped their same
sun moon stars rain

children guessed (but only a few
and down they forgot as up they grew
autumn winter spring summer)
that noone loved him more by more

when by now and tree by leaf
she laughed his joy she cried his grief
bird by snow and stir by still
anyone's any was all to her

someones married their everyones
laughed their cryings and did their dance
(sleep wake hope and then) they
said their nevers they slept their dream

stars rain sun moon
(and only the snow can begin to explain
how children are apt to forget to remember
with up so floating many bells down)

one day anyone died i guess
(and noone stooped to kiss his face)
busy folk buried them side by side
little by little and was by was

all by all and deep by deep
and more by more they dream their sleep
noone and anyone earth by april
wish by spirit and if by yes.

women and men (both dong and ding)
summer autumn winter spring
reaped their sowing and went their came
sun moon stars rain

Spinning Wheel, goes round and round... [Nov. 8th, 2005|06:14 pm]

Spinning wheel, goes round and round
Spinning wheel, nowhere bound.
Spinning wheel, s'gonna touch the ground:
And take off heading twords the dream again!

I'm really excited at the sudden change in my life. Here I was, a spinning wheel, counting time and going nowhere fast when an opportunity for adventure and profit swerves in from way out North! By January, I'll have made my new home in Juneau Alaska. A student once more, and gothic in a land that has six straight months of night. I'll have completed an Associates (Plus pre-qualifiers) in about three years. That's three more years of not having to worry about student loans! There's wilderness knocking on your door there, it's small enough for everyone to know where places are, yet vast enough to get lost and scream if you need it.

Here's to freshness, newness and adventure!
Yaaaah!

Android Lust at Rock Island [Oct. 18th, 2005|04:48 am]
[mood |drunkdrunk]
[music |Android Lust]

I went to Rock Island yesterday or the night before, to hear pharomoan's music. The title for the album (I think) was "Android Lust", and loving Soriyama's works, I went.
There was also the matter of celebrating a certain young person's birthday. I can say he was young, for I am older than he. (By a year-ish.) This young man was quite extraordinary. But that will come later.

I arrived aroung 9:30 wearing black jeans, a black DarkArts T, black socks and shoes, of course, and some fun leather gloves that fit my hands tightly. I haven't found black latex to be so well made, so the leather ones had to do. I dawdled downstairs, grabbed a ginger-ale, a heinekin and some interpretive spasm to Type O Negative's "Jesus Christ Looks Like Me" before heading upstairs. I'd asked the bartendress to stow the spice-cake with "Happy Birthday" frosted onto it, in her cooler, which she happily did.

I Greeted Pharomoan, his companion (Jeffrey, I think his name was), who would be celebrating his birthday the following day, and finally Grimm who seemed as mildly amused as always. I made more interpretive spasm to various songs, then retired from the dance floor with a stich in my side to the back bar.

A cup of Bud gently clutched in my begloved fingers, I saw a friend of mine, an what a joy she was to see. Her name, you see, is Joy. It was her blonde companion who, while quaffing a Guiness, described his agony at being 30 that night. Conrad was his name.
The cake was brought out, with a spoon instead of a candle, and many had thier taste of the rich confection. He and I, after comparing base humor and scars fell into intense conversation ranging from where we'd been, the state of Denver social scenes, a marvelous sounding program called PTY, the state of voodun gods via Gibson's Neuromancer, (repeatedly recurring with my clone-like resemblance to "Gomez" or "Gaimon's Son"), and finishing with the discussion of the modern industrial music scene getting ready to either die the final death or transform itself, pheonix-like, into another wave of incarnation. I'm sure we would've spoken on into the wee hours if Joy hadn't insisted she get some sleep.
It was a facinating night all in all.

Happy birthday, Conrad. 30 is the year to take chances once again.
It's "XXX" after all! (It was a good year for me, mostly)

Halloween is a couple weeks away, I've REALLY got to finish my costume!
